In the same way that seals, otters and bears remain warm and comfortable in extreme conditions, Páramo Directional Waterproof garments mimic the action of animal fur and push liquid outwards.  Páramo use no membranes or coatings on their fabrics, instead they are full of holes that let air and moisture pass through allowing greater efficiency in removing excess moisture vapour and condensation.  Páramo's ability to recover rapidly means it does not stop pumping the liquid out, even when static.  The combination of Páramo fabric structures and water-repellency means it carries on working, even as the body cools and is not dependent on a temperature differential to keep you warm and dry.
