CRYSTAL BAY COAT WOMEN Aubergine, Basalt, Black
New! The CRYSTAL BAY COAT is a warm, waterproof
and wind resistant winter coat with a style that borrows heavily
from the classic trenchcoat. The coat has a snug hood, a covered
zip, a belt and a similar deconstructed style to its illustrious
predecessor. It is tailored exclusively from soft textured weather
protection fabrics, e.g. TEXAPORE SMOOTHLIGHT.
To enhance the feel-good factor, the hood, neck and shoulder areas
benefit from an additional lining in silky-soft fleece, which
complements the warm MICROGUARD thermal interlining.

Ultra Light Hood Cut out of the body of the garment, i.e. firmly
attached to the jacket, this hood offers maximum weather protection
at a minimum weight.
The field of vision can be regulated by a one-hand operated
encapsulated drawcord toggle and an elasticated tape at the back
automatically regulates the volume. A storm peak provides extra face
protection.

Articulated Elbows: The elbow section is anatomically tailored
to conform to the natural biomechanics of the elbow, significantly
improving freedom of movement.
A silky-soft lining fabric made from polyester taffeta. The garment
slips on easily over lower layers in the clothing system,such as a
fleece, without bunching.
The fabric consists of matt finish, lightly textured microfibres and
warms up faster than a conventional nylon taffeta lining with its
smooth, cool surface.
A high loft polyester fleece with a silky sheen finish, a very soft
hand and outstanding heat retentivity. Thanks to the double sided
high loft construction, the weight and bulk are significantly less
than a conventional fleece with a comparable specification
(290g/mē).
The fleece is extraordinarily breathable, dries fast and has a
compact pack size.
TEXAPORE SMOOTHLIGHT 2L is a waterproof and breathable fabric that
is characterised by its super-soft, rustle free finish. The face
fabric consists of a fine grade nylon twill with a matt look.
In spite of its low intrinsic weight (158g/mē) the material is
durably robust. A microporous PU coating is applied to the inner
surface, which delivers an MVTR of 9.000g/mē/24h and a water column
of 6.000mm.
