Amersham Outdoor Sports' customer service and support is available in person and by telephone during store opening hours - Monday to Saturday 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Email contact is available during and outside of these hours and is usually acknowledged within one working day.

Amersham Outdoor Sports aims to respond to any queries within a week of receipt however received. Should the query require longer to resolve, the client will be informed of the action being taken and the anticipated timescales for resolution. Should we not respond to your query within the specified timescale, please check with us that the original communication has been received.

Contract for the Supply of Products or Services

No contract for the supply of products or goods will be deemed to exist between you and Amersham Outdoor Sports unless, and until, an email is sent to you by Amersham Outdoor Sports confirming that your order has been despatched following successful payment processing and clearance. This confirmation email amounts to an acceptance by Amersham Outdoor Sports of your offer to buy goods or services from Amersham Outdoor Sports and this acceptance is effective regardless of whether or not you receive the email.

Amersham Outdoor Sports are free to withdraw from a prospective contract at any time prior to acceptance. This also applies in the case of any error or inaccuracy in respect of the goods or services advertised, their price, any description applied to the goods or services, the availability of the goods or services, or the order itself.

Availability of Goods

It is our intention to allocate and maintain a balance of stock for both online and instore sales; however, all goods advertised for sale on Amersham Outdoor Sports' website are subject to availability. If an item turns out to be unavailable we will inform you by email or by telephone. If your selection shows as "Sold Out", please call the store where we will be able to advise on instore stock availability and process your order over the telephone.

We will not charge you for goods which we cannot supply. However we will not be responsible for any damage or losses that you may suffer if we fail to supply goods.

We have attempted to display the goods on the site as accurately and fairly as possible but are subject to the available reproduction techniques.

Prices and Payment

We endeavour to ensure the accuracy of information on this website; however, errors and omissions may occur and prices may vary. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT and exclude delivery. We reserve the right to alter prices without notice or make corrections where the price shown is inaccurate. When we have accepted an order we will not change the price that applies to that order.

Payment is accepted through PayPal, allowing safe and fast transactions via your PayPal account or via credit or debit card. Payments on credit card statements will appear as "PAYPAL*AMERSHAMOUT".

By placing your order you confirm that your identity and contact details are complete and correct and that you accept the terms and conditions in this document.

Online orders and payments are confirmed via an email message, followed by despatch information.

Amersham Outdoor Sports will endeavour to despatch orders, on clearance of full payment, within two working days of receipt. Should there be any delay we will notify you accordingly.

Postage Costs and Delivery

Delivery/postage costs are listed separately against individual items and are applicable for the UK only. Kindly note we do not operate an international shipping service.

Despatch is usually by Royal Mail Second Class Recorded Signed For service, taking 3-5 working days. In some instances, where it is more economical to do so, items may be despatched on a next day delivery service, subject to processing and courier availability, at a cost of £12.00. Please note both services require a signature; therefore please specify an UK delivery address, if different to the billing address, where a signature can be obtained by the driver.

Amersham Outdoor Sports reserves the right to decline an order or request additional delivery charges for orders that do not fit within the limits designated by the service provider.

Amersham Outdoor Sports will endeavour to despatch orders, on clearance of full payment, within two working days of receipt. Should there be any delay we will notify you accordingly.

Once despatched, delivery times are the responsibility of the service provider being used and are outside Amersham Outdoor Sports' control. However we will pursue any missing or unduly delayed deliveries. Claims for non-delivery, missing or damaged goods should be made to Amersham Outdoor Sports within 7 days of placing your order or any later notified despatch date.

The risk of damage to the goods passes to you once they are delivered to the address specified in your instructions.

Cancellation Rights and Returns

Cancellation should be made initially by telephone within 7 days of receipt of the goods. Should you wish to cancel your order, reasonable care must be taken of the goods whilst in your possession. Returned goods must be unused and suitable for resale.

Refunds will be made as quickly as possible on receipt and examination of goods and within a maximum of 30 days. Refunds will be made to the value of the returned goods only, any postage costs are not refundable.

Returns and Refunds

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, please return goods within 7 days of receipt. Refunds will be made to the value of the returned goods; any postage costs are not refundable.

All products must be returned to us unused and suitable for resale. (Please note you have a duty to take reasonable care of returned products and any refund may be withheld or a charge incurred if you fail to take such care and damage the products).

Returns can be made in person to the store or by post at the consumer's own expense. Please make sure that your return package is packed and sealed securely (in or with the original packaging if possible). Packages must be returned with the freight prepaid. We recommend the use of an insured parcel service, such as Royal Mail Special Delivery™ . Please retain proof of postage as Amersham Outdoor Sports cannot issue refunds for items we do not receive.

Amersham Outdoor Sports reserves the right to refuse the return of products which are not returned in accordance with our returns procedure and we may request that you pay for the shipping of such goods back to you.

Guarantee

All goods are guaranteed against defect in material or workmanship for 6 months from the date of purchase, subject to fair wear and tear. Subject to examination to establish the defect and its nature, a full or partial replacement or refund will be usually be offered.

Some goods may be the subject of additional warranties or guarantees given by the manufacturers direct to you.

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your privacy and comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 and are

PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) compliant.

Any personal information held, ie. name, address, telephone number and email address, will be held securely in accordance with the law. This information will be used to process your order and to offer you the best possible service from Amersham Outdoor Sports. Information will be disclosed only as necessary to a third party for goods delivery purposes. Should you require this information updated or deleted from our files, please contact us by email.

Nothing in these terms and conditions is to be taken to exclude or restrict rights granted to you by law in respect of goods supplied.

We do not accept responsibility for damage to goods caused by you.

We will not be liable to any person for damage or loss arising from the use of goods advertised on our site.

Without prejudice to your statutory rights the information contained in this site is provided without warranty and in particular we do not represent or warrant that the information is accurate, complete or current or that the use of this site will be uninterrupted or error free.

We will not be responsible for claims relating to the availability of our range, our secure payment provider, our website, place of purchase or the success or level of sales resulting from these.

The information provided in Amersham Outdoor Sports' website and online shop has been checked for accuracy; however, in the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, Amersham Outdoor Sports shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for products listed with the incorrect information.
