Cool Range

Small and lightweight bags, ideal for travelling and Summer camping when the nights are warm.

Comfort Range
With the traveller in mind the Comfort bags are designed to give maximum comfort to the user. When travelling in differing temperatures the roomy shape and the “easy-access system” are invaluable. The two zipper system allows you to adjust the warmth according to the local temperature and make travelling more comfortable; one zipper in each side allows you to open the bag totally, this gives easier access to the bag. You can also sit in the bag with full freedom of movement for arms and legs. For use in Hostels and Dormitories you can unzip both zippers from the bottom so you have maximum ventilation and yet maximum privacy. Combined with soft, fast drying fabrics and filling this makes this the perfect choice for the outdoor enthusiast and traveller.

  • Internal pocket

  • The outer layer is bigger than the inner layer which means that the insulation is not compressed when you move inside the bag.

  • Zips on both sides:  This makes the bag much more comfortable; allows the opportunity to increase ventilation; makes the bag easier to get in and out of; and, should you use it as a double, you still have ventilation zips on the outer edge - altogether much more versatile than conventional bags.

About Nanok

The polar bear is a perfect example of how the animal kingdom can adapt to extreme nature.  This bear's thick fur and solid layer of fat protect this incredible hunter.  Hunting over enormous distances across land, ice and water, the polar bear can survive for weeks without eating.  The "Nanok" (Inuit for polar bear) is perfectly evolved to survive in this extreme Arctic environment.  Anyone who wants to live and survive under extreme conditions can learn from nature's own solutions.

Following a long tradition, Norwegians have challenged the forces of nature and travelled around the world.  From the Vikings, incredible trips in small, open boats using the sky and stars for navigation to Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen, were among the first to explore the Arctic regions.  These pioneers were wise enough to understand nature had a lot to teach them.  They drew from the knowledge of the indigenous people to inspire the equipment and clothing they used.  This is one of the most important reasons whey Amundsen was the first to reach the South Pole in 1911.  As early as 1888 Fridtjof Nansen trekked across Greenland using a new inventive product - a sleeping bag.

Anyone challenging nature, needs to respect and learn from it.  "Nanok" have inherited this same respect and love of nature in developing and designing their products, so that you can get the best possible outdoor experience.
