Function 65

Pleasantly soft cotton mixed with double the quantity of polyester and spun into a yarn which combines the best of both materials - the textile good looks and feel of cotton with the robustness and lasting shape of a polyester garment. In a special process, the fine yarn is woven into a very dense shell material which is light and fast drying and at the same time dirt, wind and water-resistant. The reverse side has a POLYURETHANE coating to support the wind and waterproof performance of the material. Care: machine wash at 40°C; occasional re-impregnation advised. 65% polyester, 35% cotton.

Microguard

Microguard is a dual layer artificial fibre fill with fine micro fibres inside to trap air and provide optimal insulation. An outer layer of thermally bonded mixed fibres provides a good loft and durability. The fine micro fibres are bonded across the inner fabric, while the compact mixed fibres are only attached on one side to the shell material and lie on top of the micro fibres. This construction virtually eliminates heat loss through seams.

Microguard Silver

Microguard is a dual layer artificial fibre fill with fine micro fibres inside to trap air and provide optimal insulation. An outer layer of thermally bonded mixed fibres provides a good loft and durability. In the Microguard Silver version, the third component is a thin layer of breathable fleece with bonded silver particles on the contact side. These silver particles reflect the heat generated by the body and improve the heat retention properties by around 20%.

Nanuk 200

An universal quality fleece with a double-faced velour finish.  Nanuk 200 provides a fluffy feel, a very good warmth-to-weight ratio and is light and durable.  Nanuk is a registered trademark of Jack Wolfskin.

Polartec Thermal Pro

A very high quality, extremely robust and warm polyester fleece with differently structured inner and outer surfaces. The outer surface is extremely resistant to abrasion and pilling or 'bobbling', while the inner consists of a deep pile, tight weave fleece with a lambswool style structure and provides very good insulation. The material is waterproof treated and has a nice, soft feel.

Ripstop

Very lightweight ripstop fabric.

Tecnopile Micro

Very light, high quality 100 quality fleece from the Italian manufacturer PONTETORTO with both sides ‘roughed up’ to deliver fantastic comfort and wearability. Good thermal efficiency, extremely short drying time and very high breathability ratings.100% Polyester.

Texapore Comfort

Highly breathable polyester based material with a particularly soft, textile touch. 100% Polyester.

Texapore Taslan 2L

A microporous Texapore coating applied to a robust polyamide material renders the fabric waterproof and breathable.  The Taslan yarn has tiny little "bristles" on the outer surface that give the fabric a natural textile feel and improve the abrasion resistance.

Texapore Z-Liner

The TEXAPORE coating is here applied to a very lightweight base material and is used as a hung mid-layer between the shell material and the lining.
